APPLICATIONS
|
Polyol and carboxyl acid
are essential in polyurethane manufacturing system.
Dimethylol butanoic acid
(DMBA) contains two
kinds of functional groups in one molecule. There are
two primary hydroxyl groups and one tertiary carboxyl group
which provide function of making polyurethanes and polyesters
especially water soluble. DMBA is known to have better
solubility in ketone solvents than its analogue
, dimethylol propionic acid. Application includes polyurethane
dispersion, alkyds and polyesters, chemical building
block, printing inks, photographic chemicals. |
